According to a statement released today, M Rezanur Rahman, the Additional Secretary of the Power and Energy Ministry, became the Chairman of the Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla) on Thursday.
The report claimed Rezanur Rahman, an officer from the 17th batch of the BCS (Administration) cadre, has held positions in the ministry of health, local government, the Energy Regulatory Commission, the Anti-Corruption Commission, and the field level.
He holds a professional master’s degree from ITC Netherlands and graduated from the Mechanical Engineering department of BUET.
