Singapore’s high commissioner meets Army Chief

The Singaporean high commissioner to Bangladesh, Derek Loh, visited Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman at the army headquarters here today as a courtesy.

According to an ISPR press statement, they talked about a number of topics related to the two nations’ economic cooperation and bilateral ties during the meeting.

They specifically concentrate on boosting military cooperation, enhancing health care standards by implementing cooperative hospital construction and management projects, investing in the defence and security sector, and exchanging trainees between the two nations’ military training facilities.

Additionally, they placed a strong emphasis on conducting joint military exercises related to special force operations, disaster management, and counterterrorism.
