North Korea blows up parts of roads connecting it to South: Yonhap

Days after Pyongyang pledged to isolate its border and bolster security, Yonhap said Tuesday, citing Seoul’s military, that North Korea has detonated portions of the roadways that link it to the South.

According to Yonhap, the Joint Chiefs of Staff stated that “North Korea has detonated parts of the Gyeongui and Donghae roads north of the Military Demarcation Line,” and that “the South has boosted its military readiness in response.”
