Mongolia keen to recruit agricultural workers from Bangladesh

Bangladeshi agricultural laborers are highly desired by Mongolia.

In a meeting with Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun at his office in the city today, the non-resident ambassador of Mongolia to Bangladesh, Ganbold Dambajav, expressed his eagerness, according to a press release.

The topics of discussion at the meeting included a range of topics of mutual interest.

Humayun praised Mongolia’s desire to hire qualified laborers in the agricultural sector and stated that hiring people from Bangladesh would benefit Mongolia’s agricultural industry.

“I visited Mongolia a decade ago. Agricultural products, such as cheese, milk and meat, are excellent in Mongolia, but the population is very less compared to the land,” he added.

“Mongolia has no trade with Bangladesh,” stated Ganbold Dambajav. We may launch a firm in a number of sectors. Although we only have 35 lakh people living here, we have almost 7.5 crore animals. The most common among them are camels, horses, cows, sheep, and goats.”

Among those in attendance were Mongolian Honorary Consul for Bangladesh Nasrin Fatema Awal and Senior Secretary of the Industries Ministry Zakia Sultana.
