Prince Salman assures PM of his full support to enhance cooperation

Mohammad Bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, gave Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina his word that he will work to improve ties between Riyadh and Dhaka in all sectors.

The promise was made at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince this morning in New Delhi, which took place in conjunction with the G20 Leaders’ Summit, according to a press release from the foreign ministry.

During the meeting, Prince Salman praised the Prime Minister of Bangladesh for her inspiring leadership in achieving Bangladesh’s notable socioeconomic development in recent years.

Prince Salman acknowledged his delight with the Saudi investors’ continuous investments in a number of projects in Bangladesh, such as the Patenga Container Terminal and ACWA Power’s renewable energy initiatives.

He expressed gratitude for the almost 2.8 million Bangladeshis who, through their labor and devotion, contribute significantly to the economy of his nation.

Additionally, Prince Salman congratulated the Prime Minister of Bangladesh for supporting Saudi Arabia’s quest to host the 2030 Riyadh Expo.

The Saudi Crown Prince received congratulations from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for starting and completing a number of social reforms in Saudi Arabia as well as for recent notable diplomatic victories.

He was also extended an invitation to visit Bangladesh by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Prince Salman welcomed her offer in response and indicated his eagerness to travel to Bangladesh soon.
