One of the nation’s private airlines, Novoair, has chosen to start flying again on the Dhaka-Barishal-Dhaka route as of March 1.
According to a press statement issued here today, the airliner will fly to Barishal, the country’s south-central divisional headquarters, every Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday.
According to the release, Novoair briefly halted flights on the route starting on August 1 of last year due to the passenger crisis.
The airliner is currently operating flights from Dhaka on domestic routes to Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, Rajshahi and international routes to Kolkata.
Besides, On November 17, 2022, the airline started transporting passengers directly from Rajshahi, a main city in the northern part of Bangladesh to Cox’s Bazar.
Moreover, Novoair also started direct flights between Jashore, a significant city of the Khulna division, and beach city Cox’s Bazar from November 30, last year.
