At Sindhu Ghat in Shey today, the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, conducted a luncheon in His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s honor.
The LAHDC Leh Councillors, led by the Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, DC Leh, Shrikant Suse, BDC Chairpersons, and officers of the UT and District Administration, Leh, participated in an interaction session with His Holiness as well.
His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama shares his piece of wisdom, emphasizing the need to cultivate a happier society among the seven billion people by engaging in acts of kindness and upholding secular ethics. He also discussed the importance of teaching love, compassion, mindfulness, and serenity as part of heart education.
Tarun Chugh, Head of Political Parties of BJP, INC & AAP Leh, H.E. Thiksey Rinpoche, H.E. Togdan Rinpoche, Head of Religious Organizations, Former CECs of LAHDC Leh, BJP National Gen. Secretary, and Representatives from Different Organizations including DRDO, AAI, NISR, etc. also attended the event.
