Ukrainian refugee outflow hits 368,000, still rising: UN

“The current total is now 368,000 and continues to rise,” UNHCR said via Twitter.

After months of massing soldiers near Ukraine’s borders, Russia has launched an attack. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the military operation ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday amounted to a full-scale invasion.

Russian fire has already hit dozens of military locations, with deaths growing. The consequences are being felt far beyond Europe, as Asia is rocked by increased geopolitical risk and volatile energy and financial markets.
