Biden wants Americans to leave Ukraine as soon as possible

As NATO raised the alarm over Russian live-fire drills in Belarus, President Trump stated “things might go crazy rapidly.” In the case of a confrontation, Biden cautioned that the US would not conduct a citizen evacuation.

As fears of a Russian invasion grow, US Vice President Joe Biden has encouraged US people to evacuate Ukraine immediately.

In a pre-recorded interview with NBC News Thursday evening, Biden said, “American citizens should go now.”

“We’re dealing with one of the largest armies in the world. It’s a very different situation and things could go crazy quickly,” Biden said.

In the event of a confrontation, the president stated unequivocally that he would not send soldiers to Ukraine to evacuate US citizens.

“That’s a world war. When Americans and Russians start shooting one another, we’re in a very different world,” he said.

Japan and the Netherlands followed Biden’s lead on Friday, asking all of their residents to leave Ukraine as soon as possible.

Ukraine, on the other hand, claims that nothing has changed and that no one needs to leave the country.
