Apple is presenting bespoke compilations throughout Apple Fitness+, the App Store, the Apple TV app, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books to commemorate American Heart Month.

“We’re strong believers at Apple that if you can empower people with information about their health, you can change the trajectory of their well-being,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer. “Keeping your heart healthy requires a holistic approach — something we’ve focused on since the first generation of Apple Watch with the inclusion of activity and workout apps, in addition to heart rate. Today, people of all ages can use our products and services to learn more about staying healthy, work toward their personal goals, and have a lot of fun along the way.”

Apple is launching a new Heart Month Activity Challenge on February 14 to encourage individuals of all fitness levels to prioritize their health by completing 30 minutes in their Exercise ring to get a special gift. Starting February 14, Fitness+ will have a special section of 30-minute energetic workouts to assist users to achieve the award and stay active. These workouts will encourage users to get their weekly minutes of exercise.

Users can find a variety of apps on the App Store that can assist them in maintaining their cardiovascular health by providing vital information regarding their heart rate and exercise levels. By accessing customized workouts, monitoring important heart rate measurements, and tracking health vitals, apps like HeartWatch (Tantsissa), Gentler Streak (Gentler Stories), and Zones (Flask) can help users improve their fitness and overall wellness.

Apple Literature has a library of heart-healthy works, including books on cardiac science, emotional well-being, and healthy food. The Apple TV app has a selection of movies and shows about heart disease, heart research, and healthy living for viewers. Listeners can also access a curated selection of popular podcasts featuring medical professionals on Apple Podcasts’ Browse page, which can help them learn more about their health and the measures they can take to improve their general fitness, mindfulness, and well-being.

Apple is giving extra savings on Apple Watch trade-ins in some regions for customers wishing to update their Apple Watch in February.
