Samsung has recently launched the One UI 4, initially rolling out on the Galaxy S21 series. The new user interface (UI) offers improved customization options, better privacy features and access to Samsung’s ever-expanding ecosystem, putting the users in full control of their device. The new UI will soon be available in previous Galaxy S and Note series devices, as well as in Galaxy Z series and A series smartphones and tablets.
One UI 4 enables users to enjoy a customized mobile experience according to their unique needs, allowing them to express their individuality. It offers efficient Photo Remastering feature, which allows the users to make their photos more beautiful, while also enabling them to keep the original properties totally intact. With an entire host of new color palettes to choose from, the look and feel of the screen content including icons, menu and background can be altered according to the users’ taste. The reimagined widgets offer even deeper customization, making it much easier to personalize these devices.
With One UI 4, customers can now express themselves with a wider variety of emojis, GIFs and stickers, directly from the keyboard. Plus, users can now make use of the Grammarly writing assistance feature in the Samsung Keyboard to express their minds without any error. With the latest privacy and security features into the One UI 4, users can now choose exactly what they want to share or keep private. This new UI sends alerts when an app attempts to access the camera or microphone, and has a new privacy dashboard which brings all the settings and controls of the device into one convenient place – keeping all the permission info accessible at a glance!
The One UI 4 enables the users to get the most out of Samsung’s incredible ecosystem of devices and third-party apps, unlocking a more powerful mobile experience. The leading smartphone manufacturer’s partnerships with industry-leaders like Google ensures a seamless experience with third-party apps, like Google Duo. Be it a Galaxy Z Series, Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Tab – the One UI 4 ensures the uniform look and feel across all devices, while syncing the data within them.
“We are committed to giving everyone access to the best mobile experiences possible, as soon as possible,” said Janghyun Yoon, Executive Vice President and Head of Software Platform Team at Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics. “One UI 4 delivers on that promise, equipping Galaxy smartphone users with the latest customization and privacy features. But we won’t stop there. Soon, other smartphone and tablet users will also be able to benefit from this software update, enabling a more seamless experience across our entire ecosystem.”
Introducing other incredible features like Highlight Reels and Faster Video to make photography and videography more exciting than ever before, the One UI 4 has hit the devices, starting off with the Galaxy S21 series. Alongside the new UI, a software update for the Galaxy Watch series, that enables users to enjoy enhanced health features and new watch faces, was launched.
