Youthnet to work in Cox’s Bazar with Corona’s awareness message

In Cox’s Bazar, an average of about 11,000 people are newly infected with the coronavirus every day. The situation could worsen further as the ongoing lockdown relaxes. In such a situation, the youth platform Youthnet for Climate Justice has launched a campaign to encourage people not to leave their homes unnecessarily, wear masks and follow hygiene rules.

The agency also called on the local administration to take more initiatives to ensure the safety and food security of the general public as well as to promote vaccination.

Members of Youthnet Cox’s Bazar district have started work to spread awareness messages to all to wear masks and other health issues during the relaxed lockdown on July 20 (Tuesday). The organization distributed masks to traders and passers-by in Panbazar and Gol Dighirpar areas of Cox’s Bazar to make everyone aware of wearing masks and other hygiene issues during the relaxed lockdown. At the same time, the message of corona awareness is also given. Everyone has appreciated this initiative of the organization.

Zimran Md. Sayek, the coordinator of Youthnet Cox’s Bazar district branch, said, “The whole country is in disarray in Corona.” The infection is increasing day by day. The list of deaths is long. Cox’s Bazar is no exception.

Gatherings are going on in the market and on the streets in violation of the Kovid restrictions. No one has a mask on their face, but if they have a mask, it hangs on their chin or ears As a result, the fear of infection is increasing We are on our way to make the general public aware of this situation. The responsibility of security now falls on the shoulders of each of us. None of us can avoid this responsibility. We want to make people aware. Hopefully, through this campaign, people will be more aware of government restrictions.
