Yum Brands Inc’s Taco Bell said on Tuesday it would hire at least 5,000 workers at an April job fair as it looks to support a planned expansion of U.S. restaurants.
The restaurant chain said outdoor hiring parties will take place at almost 2,000 U.S. restaurants on April 21, reports Reuters.
The last such event by Taco Bell was held in November to fill 2,000 positions at 400 restaurants, CBS News had reported.
Restaurants and bars have added a large chunk of jobs across sectors in the last few weeks as more Americans getting vaccinated and additional pandemic relief money gave businesses more confidence to step up hiring.
