Biman has suspended commercial flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The two routes in the UAE were scheduled to resume flights from Monday. Ticket sales activities were also started for this. But due to the decision of the UAE Civil Aviation, the aviation authorities have suspended flights on these two routes. However, the exact reason for the delay was not disclosed by the airline.
According to a press release issued by Biman’s public relations arm, UAE Civil Aviation has made a temporary decision to operate flights to Dubai till July 16 this year. Accordingly, Biman is preparing to operate the flight from 8 to 16 July. But due to unavoidable reasons, these flights have been suspended.
However, the airline will take special measures to transport the booked Dubai-bound passengers from July 6 to 16. Concerned passengers are being informed about this through SMS and telephone. For this, you have been asked to contact Biman website: www.biman-airlines.com and Biman call center: 01777715613-16
The airline has suspended flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi since March due to coronavirus infection. The airline used to operate flights on these two routes seven days a week.
