Grameenphone reduces internet price in Bangladesh

Grameenphone reduces tariff of two internet packages in accordance with government decision to reduce VAT on internet usage in Bangladesh from 15% to 5%. New benefits of other internet packages will also be offered soon.

From August 3, 2018, the current 2GB for 42 Taka offer (2 days validity) will be available at 38 Taka and 1GB for 94 Taka offer (7 days validity) will be available at 86 Taka.

Yasir Azman, Deputy CEO and CMO, Grameenphone said, “We appreciate Government’s decision to reduce VAT, which has paved the way for Grameenphone to offer more data to our valued customers at a lower price. Now our customers will be able to access the world of internet at a more affordable price and experience our superior network quality.”
