The 4th GMM and 3rd Training of JCI Dhaka Central held

The 4th General Members Meeting (GMM) for the year 2017 and 3rd Training of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Dhaka Central took place in a restaurant in Dhaka yesterday.

The training was based on ‘Effective Leadership’. The training focused on learning why emotional intelligence is needed in leadership; how to communicate as a leader and how to build support around ideas and projects; what are the strengths as a leader and how can one make the most of them and learn how to build and utilize networks and resources and how they can support development as a leader.

The training was very interactive and lively. It was conducted by 2017 National treasurer of JCI Bangladesh Mr. Sumon Howlader. Mr. Sumon Howlader was also a proud member of JCI Dhaka Central.

After the training, the 2017 Local President of JCI Dhaka Central, Mr. Abu Taleb Siddique commenced the GMM with a brief speech expressing his sincere gratitude to all the members and guests for their valuable presence. He also thanked the members for their sincere efforts in carrying out the project and event activities with integrity and dedication.

He then shared the activity report and project updates of JCI Dhaka Central. Concerned members briefed about their projects as well as all the events that have been carried out so far.

Apart from JCI Dhaka Central members, eminent members of JCI Bangladesh including 2017 Immediate Past National President Senator Mr. Md. Shakawat Hossain Mamun, 2017 National Secretary General Senator Mr. Irfan Islam, 2017 National General Legal Counsel Senator Mr. Fayaz Atiqul Islam, 2017 National Director Mr. Sakib Ahmed and 2017 National Director Ms. Rebeka Sultana Binti graced the meeting with the humble presence.

After the training and meeting, a festive Eid reunion took place with the cheerful participation of the members of JCI Dhaka Central.
