Poor batting display by the Tigers allowed New Zealand to take 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series as they beat Bangladesh by 67 runs in the second ODI held on Thursday at Saxton Oval, Nelson.

Chasing a winning target of 252 runs set by New Zealand, Bangladesh dismissed at a paltry total 184 runs in 42.4 overs.

Earlier, put to bat first by Bangladesh, New Zealand, rode on Neil Broom’s unbeaten century, managed to score a decent total of 251 from their allotted 50 overs.
