The winners of Huawei “Seeds for the Future 2016” have left Bangladesh for China

The winners of Huawei “Seeds for the Future 2016” have left Bangladesh for China on October 22. The 10 winners are students of BUET, CUET and University of Dhaka.

Five team, each consisting of two members, will visit the Huawei HQ along with other places from October 24, 2016 till November 4, 2016. During this two-week stay in China, students will participate in various knowledge sharing and learning sessions. They will first go to Beijing to receive cultural training by Beijing Language and Culture University. A faculty member from Dhaka University is accompanying the winners.

In second week, students will go to the Huawei Headquarters located in Shenzhen where they will be able to study the most advanced ICT technologies. They will also receive training from the Huawei Experts. The students will then sit for a test which will determine their learning during the visit and will receive certificate after that.

‘Seeds for the Future’ is the Huawei’s global talent developing program which is its most heavily invested CSR activity. The program seeks to develop local ICT talent, enhance knowledge transfers, and improve people’s understanding of ICT and interest in the telecommunications industry.

Talented youths from 45 countries throughout the world participate in the flagship CSR of Huawei “Seeds for the Future”. This is the third instance of Bangladeshi participants joining talents from the rest of the world.
