Accommodating just eight guests, this expedition aboard a Gulfstream G200 unfolds to reveal Asia’s cradles of civilization from an utterly unique perspective. Hosted by an Aman General Manager to add a personal touch, this journey offers the most insightful excursions at each Aman and a rare sojourn through four different countries in just 18 days.
The experience begins in China, in the historic capital of Beijing. Set alongside the UNESCO-protected garden estate, Aman Summer Palace is the ideal base from which to explore Beijing’s World Heritage Sites. A picturesque contrast, is Amandayan in the rural splendour of Lijiang, overlooking the UNESCO-protected Old Town and Yunnan Province’s regal mountain range, Amandayan is situated atop Lion Hill, in the heart of this ancient town. Following a private jet transfer to Paro in the remote Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan, home to Amankora and its five intimate lodges, guests will enjoy guided exploration of renowned cultural sites including the clifftop Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
Guests then depart for India, to Amanbagh in Rajasthan’s rugged Aravalli Hills, a Mughal-inspired oasis with excursions to colourful local villages. Followed by a stay at Aman’s tented camp on the outskirts of Ranthambore National Park, Aman-i-Khas, safaris into the untouched jungle will offer the chance to see India’s magnificent tigers.
Then fly south to Amangalla in Galle Fort, Sri Lanka, the gracious grand dame of Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the colonial charm of the 16th century. The trip will conclude at Amanwella, a contemporary Bawa-esque beachside resort offering easy access to ancient temples and the region’s national parks.
