With regard to the 19th founding anniversary of Chittagong Hill Tracks Affairs, a three days photography exhibition entitled “Chittagong Hill Tracks: People & Nature” is going to inaugurated today in Drik Gallery, Dhanmondi. This exhibition will run from 16th to 18th of July.
Based on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s historical peace agreement of Chittagong Hill Tracts a new ministry named Ministry of Chittagong Hill-Tracts Affairs (MoCHTA) had established on 15 July 1998.
After successfully arranging the first edition of “Chittagong Hill Tracks: People & Nature” last year MocHTA decided to continue with the second part of the exhibition this year.
“Chittagong Hill Tracks: People & Nature” exhibition has been arranged in association with UNDP and Bangladesh Adventure Club. which is exhibiting around 100 of photography from 44 photographers.
Besides 50 different photographs of Chittagong Hill Tracks, this arrangement also exhibiting another 50 photographs of different events organized by Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracks Affairs.
Mr. Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, Ministry of Cultural Affairs is the chief guest of this exhibition opening. Mr. Bir Bahadur Ushe Singh, MP, Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracks Affairs will act as the special guest of this ceremony.
The exhibition will remain open for all from July 16 to July 18 (3 PM to 8 PM).
