UAE air defences ‘actively engaging’ with Iran missiles, drones: ministry

Weeks into a precarious ceasefire between the US and Iran, the United Arab Emirates reported on Tuesday that its air defenses were fighting Iranian missiles and drones for the second day in a row.

The ministry of defense claimed in a statement on X that UAE air defense systems are actively combating missile and UAV threats, adding that they “came from Iran.”
