Turkish firm eyes HSIA ground handling services

Ramis Sen, the Turkish ambassador to Bangladesh, stated today that Çelebi Aviation Holding, a Turkish company, is interested in offering ground handling services at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, creating a new opportunity for aviation collaboration between the two nations.

According to a press release from a foreign ministry here, the ambassador showed interest during a courtesy call on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam at her Dhaka office.

M. Rashiduzzaman Millat, the State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, attended the gathering.

According to an official handout, both sides emphasized throughout the discussion the necessity of further enhancing bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Turkey.

They also talked about potential Turkish assistance for Bangladesh’s tourism industry’s growth.

Çelebi Aviation Holding is eager to offer ground handling services at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the nation’s top international gateway, the ambassador told the minister during the meeting.

The minister and the state minister conveyed their readiness to collaborate closely with Turkey in order to deepen their partnership in the tourist and civil aviation industries.
