Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed today reiterated his government commitment to put an end to the “mob culture”, saying they would take punitive and decisive action against the misdeed.
“I have already said the mob culture in Bangladesh ended. We will take prompt action if it is happened anywhere across the country. We will react toughly,” he said.
Following a meeting with the commanders of the forces under the Home Ministry in the Bangladesh Secretariat here, he made the comments in response to a query.
He declared that the days of occupying the roads and highways and then recognizing the demand were over.He continued by noting that everyone must make their demands in accordance with the law.
“None will be allowed to occupy the roads and highways to end public sufferings,” he said.
