First session of parliament likely in March: Home Minister

The 13th national parliament’s first session is anticipated to start next month, potentially as early as March 12 or even earlier.

Salahuddin Ahmed, the Home Minister, posted the details on his verified Facebook page tonight.

He stated in the article that the national parliament’s maiden session would take place on March 12 or just ahead of that date.

During the inaugural session of the 13th parliament, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be elected. Ordinances promulgated during the tenure of the interim government will be placed before the House and a condolence motion is also expected to be presented.
