Prime Minister Tarique Rahman received a courtesy call from the heads of the three services today.
General Waker-Uz-Zaman, the Chief of Army Staff, Admiral M. Nazmul Hassan, the Chief of Naval Staff, and Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, the Chief of Air Staff, met the Prime Minister this morning at his Cabinet Division office at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
Atiqur Rahman Rumon, the prime minister’s additional press secretary, attested to the incident.
Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. AKM Shamsul Islam, the prime minister’s adviser, attended the meeting.
Earlier, on his arrival at his Cabinet Division Office, Tarique Rahman was welcomed by the Cabinet Secretary Dr Nasimul Ghani and Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar.
