Banglalink appoints Kazi Mahboob as CMO

In an effort to speed up digital services and improve customer satisfaction across the nation, Banglalink, one of the top digital operators in the nation, has named Kazi Mahboob Hassan as its new chief marketing officer (CMO).

With more than 20 years of expertise in technology, finance, and telecoms, Kazi has a proven track record of fostering customer-focused innovation and transformative growth in fiercely competitive South Asian industries, the business stated in a press release on Tuesday.

Kazi previously served as the founding chief executive officer of r ventures PLC, where he built a high-performing digital ecosystem from scratch. As chief information officer of Robi Axiata, he led major advancements in ICT, IoT, cybersecurity, and large-scale IT transformation, ensuring near-zero downtime and stronger digital service delivery.

His leadership career also includes key roles at Delhivery, Grameenphone, Deloitte UK, and IBM UK, where he worked with major global clients such as Deutsche Telekom and Unilever on transformation and digitalisation initiatives.

Kazi is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), a graduate of IBA, University of Dhaka, and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
