In order to stop the entry and circulation of counterfeit currency notes, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has stepped up its public awareness campaign, bolstered operational activities, and improved intelligence surveillance along the border areas.
In a statement released today, the BGB headquarters urged all residents to be watchful and cooperative by reporting any information pertaining to the manufacture, distribution, or smuggling of counterfeit money as soon as possible.
It further stated, “If you have any information in this regard, please contact the nearest BGB camp or outpost or call the designated BGB helpline immediately.”
