Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 7.1 percent reaching US$1780 million in Bangladesh

Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 7.1 percent reaching US$1780 million in the first 20 days of October, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB).

Last year, during the same period, the country’s remittance inflow was $1,661 million, reports BSS.

During the July to October 20, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $9,365 million, which was $8,204 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
