In order to attend the 56th border conference, a nine-member Indian team headed by BSF Director General (DG) Daljit Singh Chaudhary arrived in Dhaka today.
According to a BGB news statement, BGB Director Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui greeted the Indian delegation upon their arrival at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka this afternoon.
Tomorrow morning, the four-day DG-level meeting between the BGB and the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) will formally start at the BGB Headquarters in Pilkhana, Dhaka.
The last day of the conference is August 28.
