Following the return of officials from Washington, where they attempted to persuade Donald Trump not to put harsh tariffs on Swiss goods, Switzerland’s federal government will convene a “extraordinary meeting” on Thursday.
“Tariffs: The Federal Council will convene an emergency meeting in the early afternoon following the return of its delegation from the United States. Following the meeting, a statement will be released,” the government wrote on X.
