Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the secretary general of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), paid Jatiya Mukti Council President Badruddin Umar, a writer and Marxist-Leninist politician, a visit in the hospital.
This afternoon, the BNP Secretary General paid a visit to the eminent lawmaker at the United Hospital in the capital’s Gulshan.
Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the party’s media unit, attested to the situation.
He sat next to Badruddin during this time, asked medical professionals and family members about his condition, and said prayers on behalf of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
