The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has reportedly pushed seven individuals, including four women, into Bangladesh from the Dhanua Kamalpur border in Bakshiganj Upazila of the district.
According to police, the BSF pushed them near Pillar No-1083 in the Dhanua Kamalpur frontier in Bakshiganj Upazila this morning. Local residents apprehended the individuals and subsequently handed them over to Bakshiganj police.
Officer-in-charge of Bakshiganj Police Station, Khandakar Shaker Ahmed, confirmed that local people detained them and brought them to the police station. He stated that legal action would be taken against them after interrogation.
