The Palestinian militant group Hamas has vehemently condemned what it described as “blatant US aggression” against Iran, following an announcement by President Donald Trump that American warplanes had bombed Tehran’s primary nuclear enrichment facilities.
In a statement released shortly after Trump’s disclosure that the United States had joined Israel’s bombing campaign against Iran, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) declared, “The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemns in the strongest terms the blatant US aggression against the territory and sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Hamas labeled the attack a “brutal aggression” and a “dangerous escalation,” asserting that it constituted “a flagrant violation of international law, and a direct threat to international peace and security.”
