Jordan shuts airspace in fresh wave of Israel-Iran attacks

Jordan announced late Saturday the closure of its airspace, marking the second such measure since the onset of the most significant direct confrontation between Israel and Iran.

The Jordanian civil aviation authority, in a statement, declared the country’s airspace closed until further notice. The closure encompasses the suspension of all takeoffs, landings, and transit flights through Jordanian airspace. Jordan shares a border with Israel.
