Bangladesh today made clear how deeply concerned it is and how strongly it condemns the recent Israeli military strikes against Iran.
In a statement released today, the foreign ministry said, “Bangladesh calls on the United Nations and the international community to work together in favor of a stable Middle East, emphasizing that diplomacy and respect for one another continue to be the only viable path to lasting peace.”
According to the statement, Bangladesh urged all sides to use extreme caution and abstain from any acts that would exacerbate tensions in the already unstable area.
The declaration declared, “This flagrant act of hostility is a clear violation of the United Nations Charter, fundamental principles of international law, and the sovereignty of Iran.”
Dhaka said that the attacks pose a serious threat to regional and global peace and security with far-reaching consequences.
