Europol and Eurojust, the anti-crime agencies of the European Union, announced on Friday that a concerted global effort had successfully disrupted some of the “most dangerous malware” in the world this week.
Authorities said they had confiscated 3.5 million euros ($3.9 million) in bitcoin, taken down over 300 servers, neutralized 650 domains, and issued international arrest orders against 20 people.
