The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has announced a prohibition on all forms of public assemblies within specified areas of the capital.
This decision was formally communicated in a statement issued on Saturday, bearing the signature of DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjat Ali.
According to the statement’s provisions, this ban on gatherings will be enforced in the vicinities of Kochukhet Road, Bijoy Sarani, the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO), Birsreshtho Shaheed Jahangir Gate, BAF Shaheen College, Mohakhali Flyover, Sainik Club intersection, Bhashantek, Matikata, and ECB Chattar.
