On International Women’s Day, Biman Bangladesh Airlines is running a special flight that will be flown by all female employees, including pilots and cabin personnel.
According to a statement from Biman, the national flag carrier is running the trip in support of women’s empowerment, gender equality, and the abolition of all forms of violence and discrimination against women.
First-Officer Tasnuva and Captain Anita are in charge of the unique Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka flight BG-388, which has five female cabin crew members.
At 11:20 this morning, the all-female operated special flight is scheduled to depart Dhaka.
