US-Bangla Airlines to spread wings to Riyadh

One of the nation’s private airlines, US-Bangla Airlines, has made the decision to launch in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on April 21 in an effort to improve passenger services for Bangladeshis living abroad in the oil-rich kingdom.

According to a press release issued today, the airline intended to use its 436-seater Airbus 330-300 aircraft to run five weekly flights on Dhaka-Riyadh routes five days a week.

US-Bangla Airlines will depart from Dhaka on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 1:35 pm for Riyadh and arrive in Riyadh at 5:10 pm local time.

It will again leave from Riyadh at 7:15 pm and arrive at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 4 am.

Prioritizing the desires of Bangladesh’s billions of devout Muslims, the US-Bangla has also planned to launch flights on the Dhaka-Medina route as soon as possible.

In addition to all domestic destinations, US-Bangla Airlines currently operates flights to Jeddah, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Male, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Chennai, and Kolkata. Its fleet currently consists of 24 aircraft, including two Airbus 330-300 and nine Boeing 737-800.
