The country is expected to experience dry weather for the next 24 hours starting today morning, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” the BMD bulletin said.
The country may see a modest drop in nighttime temperatures and a near-constant daytime temperature, it continued.
Tetulia in Rangpur division recorded the lowest temperature of the day, 13.0 degrees Celsius, while Jashore district in Khulna division recorded the nation’s highest temperature on Saturday, 34.4 degrees Celsius.
In the capital, the sun goes down at 06.02 pm tonight and rises at 06.20 am tomorrow.
