New uniforms for the police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), and Bangladesh Ansar have been decided, according to Home Advisor Lt. Gen. (retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury today.
For the police, RAB, and Ansar, respectively, the colors iron, green olive, and golden wheat have been decided upon.
“We have already selected new dresses for the police, RAB and Ansar. But, it will take time to implement the new dresses,” he said after coming out of the meeting on law and order at the Secretariat here.
Replying to a question about police, the home adviser stressed the need for changing everything specially mindset prior with to changing the use of new dresses.
“We have to give topmost priority in stopping corruption. All the problems will be solved if corruption is checked,” he observed.
