Dhaka dwellers advised to wear facemask for very unhealthy AQI 

According to an official announcement, the environment department (DoE) recommended residents of Dhaka and the surrounding area to wear facemasks outside of their homes by law because the city’s air quality index (AQI) hit a dangerously high level at 10:00 AM today.

Additionally, the agency advised vulnerable individuals (elderly, children, and those with illnesses) to avoid leaving their homes unless absolutely necessary.

During this dry season, it was stated that because the air quality index varies hourly, it can occasionally reach a susceptible state from a harmful stage in the capital city of Dhaka and its surrounding areas.
