Dr. Muhammad Mehedi Hassan, the ICT Division’s assistant secretary, has been selected by the interim government to serve as the administrator of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS).
In this regard, the Ministry of Commerce issued an order today in accordance with Section 17 of the 2022 Trade Organisations Act.
The directive stated that the administrator will notify the Ministry of any developments and transfer the powers to the newly elected BASIS board through a free and fair election within 120 days.
