According to his spokesperson on Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin informed the BRICS leaders that Moscow’s forces were moving forward on the battlefield and welcomed their proposals to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on the fringes of the BRICS conference that many nations “expressed a desire to contribute more actively” to ending the war, according to official media.
“The very positive dynamics on the front for the Russian armed forces,” Peskov added, were another point Putin brought up in private discussions with international leaders.
