In the last 24 hours up until this morning, 1,022 dengue patients were admitted to various hospitals across the nation, and three of those patients passed away.
A press release from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) stated that “410 dengue patients were hospitalized in Dhaka city during the period, while 182 in Dhaka division, 93 in Barishal, 143 in Chattogram, 119 in Khulna, 42 in Mymensingh, and 27 in Rajshahi.”
According to the statement, there have been 177 documented dengue-related deaths this year, bringing the overall number of cases to 34,121.
There were 3,21,179 dengue cases and 1,705 dengue-related deaths in the nation last year.
