Today, at Dr. Wahiduddin Mahmud’s office in the capital, an ADB team led by Senior Adviser Edimon Ginting and recently appointed Country Director Hoe Yun Jeong met with the advisor to the interim government on the Ministry of Planning.
The ADB delegation informed the Planning Adviser about their supported projects that were currently underway as well as those that were in the pipeline during the discussion, and both the adviser and the delegation decided to keep reasonable project costs and timelines to a minimum.
According to a press statement from the Planning Ministry, the Planning Adviser told the ADB delegation that the government has already established a task force to review economic plans and identify resources needed to achieve development goals.
The ADB delegation promised to provide all required assistance in this area.
Among those in attendance were ADB deputy country director Jiangbo Ning and country economist Chandan Sapkota.
