Rain ruins opening day of series-deciding Test

The second and final Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh was canceled today due to heavy rain and a muddy outfield at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on the opening day of play.

The players were forced to stay in the dressing room, making even the toss impossible.

The weather report indicated that rain is also quite likely to hamper tomorrow’s game on the second day.

Bangladesh’s historic 10-wicket victory in the opening Test has put them 1-0 ahead in the series.

The Tigers are currently aiming to defeat Pakistan in a Test series for the first time ever.
