The Nutrition, Health & Wellness firm Nestlé Bangladesh PLC, founded in Switzerland, has announced that Hosne Ara Loma has been appointed as their new director of human resources.
Over the course of her twenty-four-year career, Hosne Ara Loma has held a variety of executive roles at top global corporations in Bangladesh and India.
Her career has been marked by the constant development of successful tactics and the establishment of a solid organizational culture that fosters sustained long-term performance.
Loma was the Country Head, People and Organization at Novartis Bangladesh Limited before she joined Nestlé.
She was the director of people and culture for Philip Morris International’s affiliate in India prior to this.
Beyond her professional achievements, Hosne Ara Loma is a fervent supporter of diversity and inclusivity.
Under the auspices of the Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and in partnership with its member organizations, she spearheaded the inaugural “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) award” in Bangladesh.
Loma graduated with honors from Lady Shriram College for Women, University of Delhi, India, and the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, with a master’s degree in business administration.
