According to local authorities on Monday, the number of people killed in the capsize of a makeshift ferry boat off the coast of Mozambique has grown to 96.
The administrator of the small island close to the northern Nampula province where the accident happened, Silverio Nauaito, told AFP, “Five more (bodies) have been found in the last few hours, therefore we are talking about 96 deaths.”
