After a mainly favorable start to the week for major Asian indices, Europe’s main stock markets steadied at the opening of trading on Monday.
London’s FTSE 100 index dipped 0.1 percent to 7,673.53 points.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 shed 0.1 percent to 7,925.94 points and Frankfurt’s DAX index was flat at 17,736.42
